M83 - Midnight City

This is an amazing song for playing, full blast, on a cold winter night. M83, named after the spiral galaxy “messier 83”, released a variety of songs in 2008 and one in 2010 but Midnight City is their first chart success and its pretty obvious why. The opening riff of the song has been made memorable by various media use such as Made in Chelsea and adverts for the 2012 Olympics but this song definitely speaks for its self with its atmospheric vocals transcending from an upbeat drum and finished off with an alluring saxophone that adds a sense of limitlessness.
